Star Gebäudedienste

EXA Capital acquired Star Gebäudedienste, a Heidelberg-based facility management company, in September 2023, and has since built it into a buy-and-build platform through three add-on acquisitions — including C&K Dienstleistungen in Heilbronn and M&M in Heidelberg.

Since acquisition, the platform has grown its topline 2.5x and its EBIT 3x, providing cleaning and facility services for private homes and offices — including photovoltaic cleaning that keeps solar panels producing at full yield.

An AI-powered operations layer gives the business real-time tracking of staff, task execution and quality standards — turning a traditionally manual industry into a measurable, technology-led operation.
